English:

  • Daily reading – school reading book, books from home, comics and so on

    Write a diary (do not forget to include the date) -use descriptive vocabulary and think about the sentence structures we have been practising in Year 6

  • Use your CGP SPaG booklets to revise terminology

  • Practise words from the year 5/6 spelling list

  • Write a book review - remember to include the author and hook the reader in with persuasive language (explain why it is such a great book)

  • Write/design/create/draw a newspaper article based on something positive from Newsround
